Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what information the Cortex Service may process and how we handle it. Public blockchains are transparent by design — transactions you sign are visible worldwide.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to usecortex.fun and related interfaces we operate. It does not cover third-party wallets, explorers, model providers, or other sites you visit through links or agent browsing.

2. Information we may process

Wallet addresses and public on-chain activity you choose to connect or create.
Launch metadata you submit (name, ticker, description, images, links, prompts, source lists).
Usage data such as pages viewed, approximate region, device/browser type, referrers, and diagnostic logs.
Cookies or local storage for preferences, session gates, admin sessions (for operators), and security.
Communications you send us voluntarily.
AI interaction content you submit to minds (prompts/questions), which may be processed by model providers to generate responses.

3. Information we do not want

Seed phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords — never send these to us.
Sensitive government IDs unless a separate verified process explicitly requires them (not the default product).

4. How we use information

Provide, secure, and improve the Service.
Operate launches, fee displays, mind status, and documentation.
Prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and attacks.
Comply with law and enforce Terms.
Communicate about operational issues when you contact us.

5. AI & third-party processors

Mind inference and tools may send prompts, retrieved page text, and related context to third-party model or infrastructure providers under their terms. Public web content browsed by minds may be fetched from third-party sites. Wallet connection may use Reown/WalletConnect or similar stacks that process connection metadata.

6. On-chain data

Blockchain data (transfers, mints, burns, program logs) is public and permanent. We cannot delete Solana ledger history. UI caching may re-display public chain data.

7. Cookies & similar tech

Essential — security, load balancing, feature gates, admin auth.
Preferences — UI choices stored locally where applicable.
Analytics — if enabled, to understand aggregate traffic (may use third-party tools).

You can clear cookies/local storage in your browser; some features may stop working.

8. Retention

We retain operational logs and submitted content as long as needed for the purposes above, including security and legal obligations, then delete or aggregate when practicable. On-chain data persists independently.

9. Sharing

Service providers (hosting, KV/storage, analytics, error tracking, AI APIs) under contractual or platform terms.
Public display of launch and mind content you publish.
Legal disclosures when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Business transfers if the Service is reorganized — successors remain bound by this Policy or a successor notice.

We do not sell your personal information as a consumer data broker.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no method is 100% secure. You are responsible for wallet security and device hygiene.

11. International transfers

The Service may be hosted or processed in multiple countries. By using it, you understand information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data-protection rules.

12. Your choices

Disconnect your wallet from the site.
Stop using the Service.
Request deletion of off-chain account-style data we control, subject to legal retention and technical limits.
Use browser controls for cookies.

13. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Changes

We may update this Policy by posting a new version with a revised effective date. Continued use means you accept the updated Policy.
